Sheldon Gross confers with Bob McAteer, seated. Sheldon worked with his wife on our extensive and ever growing collection of public domain and shareware library, now discontinued due to the Internet's wide spread use by our members. Shelly contributes to finding new and interesting web sites noted in our monthly newsletter.
Bob McAteer, we kept around for laughs. Just kidding. Bob had been willing to volunteer his time and effort to our group for many years. Bob last volunteered his time to help coordinate the MacHelp SIG presentations. Bob McAteer is a past President and Vice President. His valuable advice at the Board Meetings helped keep us going smoothly and with determination. Bob still has the box that contained a Jasmine 80 Megabyte drive, which was a whopper of a big hard drive way back when. LIMac has many members from the early days of the Macintosh. (Bradley got his in the first 100 days!)
Unfortunately for us, Bob, his Mac and his wife has moved to the tiny town of Ellsworth in Maine. We hear that the Mac user group near him is not as good as this one and his misses us greatly and now appreciates how good a group we have here. You're always invited back for a visit, Bob.
